Hi folks,

Attention turbo specialists/people in the know:

Got a A3 8p 1.2 TFSI in at the moment...one of the wee supercharged/turbocharged things.
Its driving flat as a pancake...no boost at all. Logging a single fault:

11417 - Boost Pressure Regulation
P155A 00 [237] - Lower Limit not Reached

All the basics are in order:

  • Intake/pipework integrity
  • Boost/MAP sensors good

Before I get much further into this one (it's looking like a turbo/actuator issue), thought I'd see if anyone had anything to share about this?

Cheers in advance.

Hi,

Not sure if that's the right error code but the only one that comes up is this:
http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/16683/P0299/000665

Which is 16683/P0299/00665 Boost Pressure Regulation - Control range not reached.

If it is that, then I had same issue last year with my 2ltr a3 8p tried everything and it was the actuator on the turbo that had failed, since having this replaced the car has been great ever since. If this isn't the same issue then disregard this. Hope you get it sorted!

Thanks @benny279 .
Yeh, I'd seen that page...Surprised there wasn't documentation for my code specifically. Will see how the actuator responds to actuation :D and will spin it round and do some logging.
Cheers again!

Hi

I have the same issue and been running to garage after garage with this issue. Could you please point me to the right direction ? Would be much appreciated. I would have come to you but I live all way down south. Did you fix this and what was the cause ?
Thanks
