1.9tdi avf 6 speed sump

Has anyone changed out a sump on a six speed quattro without dropping a sub frame? It's near impossible to get a ballend socket in of varying lengths, been told it can be done, what size shank is everyone using to do so? I've got one of the bell housing sump bolts out but the lower one I dont know how anyones done that haha. Cheers

Yeah it is mine haha, thought sod it garage can do it, I'll do stuff for winter and raise it etc, wouldn't care if the sump wasn't such a b*****d haha, pulled that big lump of metal out and the hole looks massive haha!
