I had to replace my alternator clutch about a year ago now after it seized and caused some horrible noises and steering feel. The new one seems to of failed again! I have now bought one from GSF (I think the current one was from someone on ebay, new but not sure if it was OEM). I can't seem to remember if the nut to remove it was a reverse thread or not. I remember it being very tight, but I would like to be turning it the right was in order to loosen it off!

Any help would be immensely helpful!

If you are using the correct tool that holds the shaft in still whilst you undo the pulley then it's a normal thread, and yes they are on
well tight when seized, i had to angle grind one off in chunks

Ah right thats good to know. Hopefully it won't be on that tight as I replaced it about a year back. I did use a breaker bar and even then it was tight as a mother...
