Done a search but not joy. Is there a guide to change the thermostat? I know on my old b5 it was near the oil filter underneath. Anyone know where the bleed valve is for when the system is refilled? Thanks in advance!

I did one recently on my awx 1.9 tdi, it's in a black plastic housing behind the alternator on front left of engine block, bleed hole is under battery/pollen filter cover at back of bay adj to brake servo. I used passat Haynes manual as a rough guide as its (roughly) same platform as a6 and same engine, easy job and no need to move alternator if you've got a good selection of ratchet extensions etc.
