Having read a few things online i thought id see if anyone here can help
My 2014 a3 184 tdi stronic quattto has a slight whine when accelerating in 3rd gear , all other gears are silent and whilst driving i know when the car is in 3rd just by the noise which is telling me its not right
The harder i accelerate the harsher the whine can sound happens around 1.3-2.5k rpm
I bought it used from a dealer 2 weeks ago and they have give it 3months warranty with max each repair at £500
I dont think they are upto the task of stripping a stronic onsite
Am i being too nit picky? As some say the stronic/dsg is a noisy box but is have thought it would be in all the gears?
