I'm looking at Audi A4 Sline's around the 2009\2010 mark. Just wondering if there are any major differences between the 140 and 170 TDI engines?
Is the only difference the software map or is there anything major in terms of the engine components etc.? Can't imagine there's anything significant just to cater for an extra 30bhp.
Will the 140 engine simply remap to the 170 bhp? 20% increase in bhp wouldn't be unusual for a remap.
Apart from the power, I presume an A4 Sline with a 140 bhp engine will be identical to the 170bhp of same year?
