Hi all my 2006 A3 170 Quattro has done about 29k miles and the yellow engine management light has come one, my wife took it up to our VW/Audi specialist and he checked it over with his computer. He said it was A EGR issue and reset the light advising us to call back if it came back on again. 5 miles later the light is back on, I have booked the car in for wednesday.
It is not the DPF light and after 18 months of ownership I am supprised i have not seen this on!
Our driving style is 7k last year mainly in town 2-5 mile drives, the odd 40 mile round trip to my parents and maybee a 100 mile trip every two months.
Is this a common issues? any advise before i take it in?
