2.0 TDi known oil leaks?

I've had an RAC check done on an A3 S-Line TDi 170 Quattro and the engineer said that he suspected two oil leaks on the engine although because of the engine being hard to see because of all the ancillaries he couldn't tell where from. Are there any known leaks that anyone knows about? He seemed to think one was at the top, one at the bottom but couldn't expand on that.
