2.0 TDI replaced Inlet Manifold adjuster not accepted by ECU

Hi good afternoon,

Due to a broken intake manifold adjuster unit, I had the adjuster unit (VDO A2C59506246) be replaced for my audi allroad A4 B8 2010.
I know it is the right part as I checked the same OEM numbers required and bought the VDO (that was as well in my audi).
However, the ECU programming is giving now a code P201500 and is unable to define the right position.
The voltage is 5V continously and wiring is correct. I had it checked by the audi dealer.
The audi dealer states it could be that as it is not an original audi supplied part . But this VDO part it is exactly the same part as I changed.
Is there something I am missing in the learning - setting up of the part?

Are you sure you fitted it right, was there a spring on there as swapped some out & also fitted some repair kits & they had a tiny spring.

I think if the sensor is part of the motor, then either the motors got a fault or wiring, installation issue, if there's a bank 1 sensor built into the actual manifold, then this is your next point to check as it maybe a manifold fault, I've known whole manifolds needing replaced due to the flap issue, whether it pertains to your engine, I couldn't say without reading up.
