2.0 TDI wont start

Hello! İ was in abroad for 3 days-travelled 600km.Everything was ok with my car. Today i started it and after 3/4 seconds it passed out. Then i tried again to start but it wont to start. Everything is ok with the board. No alerts. İ didnt recieved any alerts before it. The engine is turning but it cant start. İ checked the fuel pump. The fuel come to the fuel filter without problem. İ checked the EGR too. İt wasnt full. İ dont have VCDS and cant check for failures.
Please give some advices. What should i check?
 
Immobiliser? I've had these symptons before, starts and runs for 3 secs. and then cuts out, then unable to start at all. Daughter also had this on a Corsa and was the immobilser again. Try your spare key first and see if it starts.
 
İ tried with the both keys. Still the same situation :( But before this i drived with the second key too. We were together with my friend and he drived with the second key. Maybe it caused the problem.
 
Could be anything if it's not the key, I can only suggest a visit to VAG specialist for a VCDS check.

I cant understand this.

Its from the imobilizer adress.
 
I don't have VCDS and don't know how interpret all this, someone on the forum will be along to help you out. A couple of faults -- imobiliser and timing issues are the most likely causes in my eyes. Good luck.
 
Terminal 30 is the permanent live feed, are you sure the battery voltage isn't just low.

The engine needs to be cranking above a certain speed before it will fire.
 
İ think my battery is old. İ didnt had problems when the temperatures were unter 0 Celcius.
İ charged the battery but the problem is the same.
Maybe my battery cant hold a voltage. What should i do? İm with automatic gears and cant move the car.
 
How old is the battery?

Last December the wifes A3 2.0tdi wouldn't turn over or start as well. There were no warning signs in the weeks before, that the battery was on it's last legs. A quick test with the Voltmeter said it was indeed cream crackered so new battery fitted and all AOK. The battery was the original so must be 8years old and about the life of the normal car battery.

İ cant say how old my battery is. İm the second owner of the car. İt is looking like old. No text or something else.
Did your engine cranked and spined when the battery died was? My engine is cranking very fast and with power. İ know for diesel engine batteries, that when they died,the engine cant turn over. With my old diesel,it was the same.
 
If the engine spins over fast then you would expect it to be ok. Only testing it with a voltmeter will you be sure it is OK. Should be 12V to 13V.
 
Finally the problem was solved. It was the immobilizer and closed injectors. I cleared all fault codes wia vcds. Tried again and everything was fine :) Thanks for the posts
