Can you remap a 2013 B8.5 auto? Will it stop it holding back when I am rolling towards a junction and press the throttle? As standard when want it to go instantly it hesitates for ages, dangerously long time.

Yes I am using the DTUK Box ... this version



Holds 3 maps and it takes seconds to switch a map I have had a tuning box for a while and I am very impressed with it.

Hi not turned off as such but you can just unplug it and plug in a blanking socket and your car is back to normal.

You can't use a VCDS lead to tune a car. The only thing that vaguely makes a difference to performance is enabling ADS if you don't have it, and putting it in dynamic mode.
