2.4 nearside head rear camshaft seal leaking?

I think I have found my oil leak.

Looks like its coming from the nearside head camshaft 'seal'

Has anyone had this happen before and reading up on the net it looks like they just pop out to replace.

Just thought I would update this.

That seal just pops out ( I used a screwdriver to lever it out) , light smear of silicone sealer on the new one and refit to a store cold engine.

I left mine overnight to make sure the silicon had cured.


Touch wood no more oil leak.
