Not sure about these specific tyres, but aren't winter tyres considered "done" at around 4mm?

They wear at a slower rate to summer tyres if used in the correct conditions. You can get 4/5 seasons from a set of winter tyres in the UK and nowhere have I seen anything about them being 'done' at 4mm. They will wear out more if used as summer tyres.
Like any other tyre, they might have a little less grip as they wear, but that's all the negative info that I have found trawling around the web.

Yeah fair enough, I was just going by what I had learned when researching winter tyres. Someone's going to get some great value tyres by the sounds of it. Good luck with the sale!

Research

Weather considerations mean that the wear limit is set at 4 mm for winter tyres. Winter tyres with less than 4 mm tread depth in principle cease to be winter tyres and the legal wear limit is also laid down by law in some countries.
