Hello.
I have a 2.5tdi. It's been stood for a few years so I intend to change the cambelt, pump belt, water pump, pulleys and thermostat.
VCDS shows a fault on the needle lifter and it shows open circuit when tested.
There is also a fault on the accelerator position sensor.
The air supension light is on in the dash but apart from failing to get to the high position it doesn't seem to sag while parked.
It starts and runs well enough although my Dad always complained about the terrible fuel consumption.
My main concern is the cambelt etc. I've ordered a continental kit and a genuine Audi thermostat.
I'm considering a genuine Audi injector but I guess thats pretty expensive.
Has anyone had any luck with other sources?
I see that I can get a Bosch item from Autodoc (which takes ages these days) but how can I know it is the correct injector?
The air bag light is also on and VCDS shows 10 faults for an internal control module error
There are some other faults but it has has a flattened battery now and again so I'm hoping some of it sorts itself out.
