2002 a4 cabriolet Roof diagnostic problem, please help !!!!!

I have just had the rear tray and components replaced at great expense, now the roof won't close, it was put on a diagnostic machine at the garage and it came up with a fault which they could not fix, it wasn't an Audi garage though. The roof closes to the point of where the front won't lock down, the catches start to engage about halfway up, seems out of sync, does anyone have any ideas before Audi nail my hat on for looking ! Do a full maual reset on level ground. I guess you may have already, but thats what I would do.

I have tried that yes, probably gonna have to take it to the robbers Audi lol

Sometimes Audi are the best option. You're right it will prob cost you but from my experience my local Audi centre are great with anything to do with the roof. They may well diagnose far quicker than an independent too resulting in a similar cost as the time spent could be less. They don't however like to repair components, only to replace them. Good luck and hope you get it sorted soon.
