I noticed when doing an obd scan to clear a bulb warning that I had an engine fault 00801 passive/sporadic Ign./distributor eng. speed insp. Circ. Range/performance. When I looked this up it said engine speed sensor.
Car is 2006 with 98k miles. Very occasionally have a lumpy idle on start up and noticed today that when it hits 6k revs the car struggles to go any further and the Rev needle jumps around loads.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
