My 2.7Tdi won't start - been running fine then suddenly wouldnt turn over. Breakdown came out and said fault code was:
P2011 - Intake manifold air control actuator/solenoid, Bank 2 open circuit. He cleared code but wouldn't start.
I got VCDS on there and I get the following:

005716 - Please check DTC Memory of Instrument Cluster

I don't want to throw much money at it as it owes me little and its got high miles. If it's a potentially relatively simple fix though, to get it running, that would be cool.
Otherwise I will break it, it's got a lovely full leather, all electric, heated S-Line interior that someone would probably want...

Thanks

Do the glowplug errors clear, assuming battery is juiced up.

I cleared the fault codes. Still wouldn't start. Battery running low now due to trying to turn over and not running.
It strike me as odd that the fault code he found, presumabley on a generic reader, doesn't ome up on vcds.
I guess I ought to charge battery?

Have you noticed any issues with the instrument cluster? As far as I can gather, the immobiliser runs through the cluster so if that's failed it can render the vehicle permanently immobile.

No seems fine. It's turning, but not firing. I have battery on charge now, I asked breakdown recovery to check that and he didn't as was convinced it was the fault code he found. Once fully charged I will have a better idea. Gutting thing is is I had sold it a few hours before on ebay!
