2008 TT 2.0 TFSi Amplifier

Hi,

Does anyone know if the 4 channel amp in these (non Bose) is digital or not? I am going to fit an after market head unit to replace the RSN-E and have been looking at the Connects2 fitting kit CTKAU03, however the site says not for digital amps?

Is there any way of telling?

Has anyone else changed their head unit in their TT? It seems mine is the amped (non Bose) system that powers all speakers. Anyone used the connect2 install kit for this?
