OK first, passenger side window let’s water in at the top:
And secondly the drivers side rear window seal has quite a gap (passenger side is flush), not sure if water is getting in as I’ve only had the car a day and it’s hard to tell as there is plastic trim on the inside that would make it hard to check.
Yes I noticed the red paint on the seal AFTER I bought the car :-( This area must have had paint work done at some point. Whatever was done has been done very well and you can only tell if you get really close or if you stand back a bit the areas marked below look a slightly different shade of red :-(
I recently bought the car from a used car dealer and they said they happily send it to a garage to have any leaks fixed so I want to know what exactly needs to be done to fix these issues, the rear side window obviously needs to be popped out and refitted but the passenger side window, who could that be fixed? The place I bought it was quite far away so I’d rather take it somewhere local if they’ll allow it, I guess it should go to either an Audi dealer or an Audi specialist?
As for the slight difference in paint shade, how can I fix that? The whole car has been polished and waxed to a high standard, paint is swirl free and super smooth but even so, the newer area of paint is still a slightly different shade so I guess polishing it again won’t help?
