1.9 bxe engine - no fault codes
since issues happening have had done:
battery replaced
glow plugs replaced
faulty injectors replaced
fuel filter replaced
looked at by multiple garages
issue-
car will attempt to turn over and fire up 1st start of the day and will either cut out straight away or fire up lumpy for about a second before stalling. once this happens if it does it will be unable to start unless easy start is used for give it a boost. doesn't happen all the time and cannot see a pattern of when it happens (hot or cold weather) usually is the 1st start up of the day or after being left a while. once running it is fine with no unwanted noises/no loss of power.
been on going for nearly a year only solution to starting it i have found is cycling the ignition 5-7 times and then starting the car with the accelerator pedal down a little.
has anyone else had similar issues?
