Q5 2009 Q5 Facelift headlights VCDS coding

Hi,

Does anyone by chance know the coding to remove the bulb out error and keep the drls on with low beam when you fit the facelift headlights to a 2009 q5

I assume you haven't done your research when fitting the facelift headlights? Tell us what you're coming from, prefacelift halogen or xenon?

Hi Darren,

The vehicle is a cat d, it came with the face lift lights already fitted so not sure if it had the original LEDs or not. I think it must have as the xenons work ok, I don't see any issues with these. It's just the drls that seem to cause the problems.

The drls seem to switch off during the day when indicating, not sure if this means it originally had LEDs.... would these have dimmed or switched off on indication?
