Should the S3 have a flashing alarm light when locked and should it beep when set?

it should flash but the beep i had mine turned on with vagcom just to beep when alarm set not sure about the 09 if it doesnt already id say the same vagcom to turn the beep on if you want it on that is i forgot everytime i locked my car weather i did or not with in like 3 seconds due to medication im on ...

now i hear the beep and know its locked for sure
