Well thought it would be an idea to start tracking my progress on the S3.
First of all here she is after a long time searching for the right one, I finally found a great condition black edition with just 16k on the clock with full audi sh including recent cambelt and waterpump. I was looking for a low milage example as I intend to keep the car for a few years and didnt want to be afraid of putting miles on it!
So here she is:
I need to get some more photos but I am awaiting this weekend when I have a chance to give it a proper wash, decontamination and a stage 1 correction to give the paint a bit more life so watch this space for more photos!
The first task I had to undertake was locating and fixing a rattle which turned out to be the cigarette lighter surround. While I was at it the ash tray was marked so I bought an ashtray delete kit and fitted this. I also decided to wrap the gearstick surround and will follow with the door trims next weekend.
