Hello I am facing an issue with my Audi A3 2015 model 1.8 quattro Variant the car doesn't start when ever I insert the key and turn the switch on the car don't start and I have message blinking at my meter cluster shift to P or N. I connected computer to get an error code which was P085000 park/neutral input switch circuit.
The car is not starting via proper procedure we did got the vehicle start by providing direct current and did a test drive there was no other issue in gear no jerk no delayed shifting nothing no issue at all the only issue is that it's not detecting whether the gear lever is in P position due to which the car doesn't start
I visited a local mechanic he said there is an issue in your mechatronic which needs to be replaced I needed to know whether he is right is this issue related to mechatronic failure
