Owning a Golf R, I can say that it has a terrible sound! The Merc just sounds ridiculous, as in bad ridiculous. Far too chavvy. The RS3, well...it's why I want one!

Hard to compare the A45 and RS3, one is like a muscle car and one like a rally car, interior engine noise is a no brainer though. Kudos to merc for not even trying to compete with the 5 pot by pumping sound into the cabin like the golf R though

Nope! In the video it's a no brainer that the RS3 sounds by far the best. However, I'd say the S3 also sounds better than the A45 or the R. Much better sound track.
