I know theres a lot of 4WD owners on here so dont have so much of a worry about traction (unless youre running higher power then stock) but has anyone considered a wider sized tyre than OEM? Say from 225 section to 235? Or if you're wearing 19's then 235 to 245's?
I'm front wheel drive and tuned and wheel spin on our UK roads is a nighmare so it was something I was considering but no one seems to have ever mentioned it before as far as I've seen.

I know this doesnt benefit fuel economy but I don't mind. I'm running Michelin pilot sport 4's which are a good tyres but can't help but think that a going for a slightly wider tyre might help - any experiences? Much difference?

Cheers

That would make little or no difference really. Try a little less air in the tyre maybe 3-4 PSI less and see if it's any better. You have good tyres so you can't really improve in the rubber dept.

Thanks for the advice mate will give that a go.
