Hi, I have a 2008 1.6 petrol engine code BSE,
it has this crazy problem in 2nd gear, you can pull away normally in 1st, change to second gets about 2k and then hits a wall, if you keep your foot down then dip the clutch it then goes as it should, so far I have done this:
Checked with vcds - no faults
new coil
new leads
new plugs
Cleaned Throttle body
I am a bit stuck what else it can be, car has no MAF, any ideas? doesn't seem to matter if its hot or cold after you dip the clutch and it starts working it doesn't normally do it again until it is left
