3.0tdi quattro lowering

Just noticed that I have a broken rear spring. Decided it could be a good opportunity to lower it.

I know it's been covered a load before but cant find an answer on this.

With coilovers does it matter if they're for a quattro or not?

Also looking a springs are the springs any different or is it just the spring rates?

You need to get a kit that is listed for the Quattro model, the FWD one will fit but the spring rates 'may' be different depending on which kit you go for.
