DRL Disaster

Hi All

My right front bottom DRL has gone yellow yesterday. Just to make matters worse, today the left rear DRL has failed and there's now an error on the dash.

A3 8V 2016. 75000 miles.

The cost of new lights is eye-watering.

What can I test, can they be repaired, what are my options?

Urmmm seems a bit coincidental both sides have gone, I'd confirm it's the lights 1st then buy used & fit, maybe clear errors, just match part number or the superseded version.
