8P TDI Quattro?

Hi guys,

I've not had a clear idea on this from any of the usual suspects so wonder if there's someone on here that knows...

When did the 8P TDI Q become available? Some people say '08 but I'm sure I've seen older 8P's advertised with it. I'm after a 2007 ideally.

Also, does anyone know when (model year) and which TDI models have the DPF?

As far as I'm aware then ones before the facelift were only in manual, some1 correct me if I'm wrong, you should be able to get them on a 06 plate surely?

Yeah the TDI Quattro first came out with the 170 version of the 2.0 which was July 06 IIRC.

DPF was fitted to all PD170 and the newer common rail 140,170 engine. PD140`s in England where not fitted with a DPF but some europian cars where.

I swear some1 said 1 or 2 PD140s had DPF, mine doesn't, happy days

Only recent 140s have DPF

But does that mean there is no PD140 Quattro then ?

Yep, the only diesel you can get new now with Q is the 170.

Thanks fellas - been on the lookout for a Quattro given the weather but finding TDI 140+Quattro seems difficult around here...
