So my 15 S3 in for haldex problem. It's common fault which Audi should address because it's dangerous because your driving a front wheel drive car when you think it's a 4 wheel drive. I had it serviced and Audi should have diagnosied it but never.

Been doing this for a year and there's me thinking something to do with the tyres or pressure or thread depths.

If you put your foot down or launch control TC comes on = haldex problem.

Waiting to see what Audi say...

Requires to be booked in 4 wheel clutch pump to be taken off and cleaned and oil replaced £928.

Under Warranty I take it mate?
You should notice some difference once fixed.

Ouch !! That's some mark up - mine was done 6 months or so ago by a VAG specialist who replaced the pump and oil all in for £210.

Glad you're getting it sorted.

My Haldex pump gave up on me (8K miles) and had it replaced under warranty. It failed again 48 hours later so Audi replaced the whole Haldex system as they couldn't isolate the issue to a particular component. They had the car for 3 weeks but all sorted now, they even listened when i said don't wash it - must have been the look of sheer rage in my eyes following the failure!

I need to do more launch controls and make sure my 2015 A3 Quattro isn't faulty. I'm about 5K miles away from being out of warranty so I better check while the checking is good.
