I’ve had my car almost a month now, A3 1.5 TFSI S-Tronic edition 1. Little things that irritating that I don’t know if other people notice.

The temperature of the air seems to be very warm compared to the temperature it’s set to, I should probably test with an anemometer but don’t have own to hand. I normally have it set to 19 degrees as I like it a little cool with the A/C always on. Then this started to feel a like hot air coming out, then I had to change to 18, then to 17, then this morning it was coming out like boiling and I had to set it to LO to get it to not feel hot? I don’t know whether there’s some sensor that’s not right?

Only noticed this over the last 2 weeks but some frequencies in songs make 1 or 2 speakers (can’t tell which but get the general direction) rattle, I can also hear it in some of the door trims when it’s bassy. I like the music moderately loud with good sub/bass but should I be able to hear the doors rattle with bass, like why would I spend an extra grand for good speakers if I can’t have it loud? Booked it in for after Christmas now to be checked out but what should I expect them to say.

Finally, don’t know if anyone else is having this issue but my Audi Connect 36 month license wasn’t applied to my car so other than being able to unlock and lock my car nothing is working Audi connect wise. Technical services were very prompt with replies at the start but as soon as they couldn’t blame the issues on bad service anymore it’s been radio silence ever since and now I had a reply saying “this issue is more intricate and is now with a specialist” like what’s difficult about applying the license?

Other than these little things the car is absolutely amazing, so comfy to sit in and very relaxing to drive, although I wish I got the Adaptive Cruise Assist for motorway driving with traffic but hopefully this will be available on my car via functions on demand when I comes out as I do have the purchase function license in my settings.

Did you try 'Auto' on climate control? See how it behaves in your car.
I take the temperature control as just a kind of indication of how warm/cold I want it. So 20 is not the same temperature in every car. In all the cars I had so far, they all were within pretty much couple of degrees tolerance. In A3 22 is bit too hot for me but in another car 24 gave me same amount of warmth.

RE the B&O: mine's rattles sometimes and then I find it's actually the craps I store in the door pockets do the actual rattling. But if it's possible, by all means get it checked by Audi.

I've found that if the fan setting is set to the windscreen only, the cabin gets really hot even at 19.5 (my default). A couple of mins after having the setting on head/foot level fans, the temp cools down to around what I'd expect. The Auto setting sometimes prioritises the windscreen fans, causing it to heat up excessively.

Not had any rattling from the B&O speakers and I'm a month into ownership. Like Sal Jam said, the only time I had a rattle was when I had my phone mount in the door pocket. Worth getting them checked out if you're certain it's coming from a speaker(s).

Is the temperature not the cabin temp, not air. The system regulates the temp accordingly to regulate the cabin temp.
