Hi all, first post here.
I have about $10k to spend on a car, and saw that a few '96-'99 A4's around my area were selling for $11k or so, so I was interested in looking at A4's.
Are there any model years I should avoid? Are there any known problems with used A4's that I should be concerned about?
I know this is a real n00b thought too, but a few people have been telling me to stay away from european cars because of higher maintenance costs.
How much higher are we talking about here compared to japanese/american car costs?
Any general advice would be appreciated too /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif. Sorry for all the dumb questions but this is my first time ever purchasing a car. Thanks in advance.
