My partner has just started a new job, and has her predecessors company car for 6 months. It's an Audi A2 1.4 tdi, which I reckon isn't too bad! Sadly it's a poverty spec one with no air-conditioning and a tape player; apparently when it arrived they had sent the wrong one, but my partners boss signed for it so they were stuck with it for 3 years...

I two-bucket washed it, clayed, scratch-x on some marks, then 2 layers each of SRP and EGP.

Next step; audi-sport.net sticker

Ta. I like it a lot actually - I reckon people who say A2s are rubbish have never owned one!

I agree...
They are cracking little cars...and suprisingly quick and nimble...especially in 1.4 TDI form.

my son has the polo the same age with the same lump, and its great fun.. the polo 'bounces' after bumps in the road which is disturbing (susp has been checked at vw, all ok) but it goes very well, very nippy indeed. what are they, best part of 100BHP? its waaaay faster then my other lads 1.4 petrol golf..

The 1.4 TDI is either 75 or 90 BHP...but with great torque.
In a lightweight A2 it goes well....

My mother has a Polo with the 75BHP 1.4 TDI and it's not bad at all...but the lighter A2 feels much more nimble.
