A3 1.6 2003(53) Radiator Fan Broken

Hey this is my first post here,

The other night one of my radiator fans (the smaller one) got stuck on after I had turned the engine and all but drained the battery. I called out the AA and their mechanic disconnected the fuse for both fans from the fuse box to stop the fan draining the battery but now I cannot drive the car.

As far as I know, to replace one of these fans requires a whole new fan unit (both fans) and was wondering what is the best way to go about having this repaired.

So you can take out the whole unit and replace the smaller fan without having to replace the entire unit?

Yes u can, I was gonna do it on mine but both where goosed so I got the whole lot. I got mine from EKmotor factors in lancaster
