A3 1.8t agu making less boost

Hi everyone,

I’ve been chasing this issue for a while, the car use to make 1.2 bar boost in 3rd gear with no problems but now in all gears the car is sitting around 0.7 bar.

I’m in the process of making my own boost leak tester to check for leaks. Could a leak be causing that much boost to be lost?

Also what are other thinks I could check to eliminate other issues? Is there any way to keep the waste gate shut to rule that out as a potential problem?
