A3 2.0 fsi 2004 will not start, help!

Ive got a strange fault with my car, out of the blue, as I turn the key through ignition, the usual lights and noises come on, but when I try to start the car nothing happens. I can hear relays click with the key turning. I've checked the battery and its good, plus it was only replaced about 6 weeks ago. it's as if there is no signal going to the starter motor as it doesn't make any noise or attempt anything. Tried jump starting the car with no luck. But can bump start it.

Really appreciate any ideas?

Checked the battery how? Shoving a multimeter on it isn't an accurate test of the batteries health. Though as you say it should be ok.

Next test it to see whether there is good voltage on fly lead( the small lead that goes onto the starter solenoid) when the key is held in the start position.
