So, I got my 2018 A3 2.0 TSFI remapped the other day and the dyno results surprised me a bit.
Have a look at what manufacturer claimed stock BHP and stock torque should be compared to what the car was actually outputting. 190bhp manufacturer claimed but car was outputting 213bhp.
I’ve had the car 6 weeks now purchased from a dealership and there are no mods to it. I just thought what the car was already outputting was surprising.
Main reason I got the remap done was because low end torque was pretty poor for a 2 litre but look at the gains on that! I was also quoted they could get 260bhp out the engine but on the day they were unable to achieve that so settled for 249bhp instead. Maybe because I had a slight mix of Ron95 and Ron99 in the tank.
Either way, thought this would be interesting to share.
