I have noticed recently that my engine when warmed up sounds alot more agricultural at tick over.The performance is fine no difference but when i throttle off now it knocks alot then stops knocking.The car has been very quiet for a diesel,thats why its alot more noticable.
I have changed the oil and filter with Quantum fully synthetic and its still the same .The mileage is 54k (nothing for a Diesel engine) can anyone shed any light on what it can be.Its strange that when i rev the engine it sounds fine like a 16v diesel should.Thanks for any input
