A3 8P 2003 MFSW

Hey,

I am sorry if this has been discussed a couple of times but I have been reading and reading about the MFSW retrofit and while I think I got what I need I would like to be sure.
Just for confirmation there is no way to make this:

and what I need is something like this

I have also read the problem with the dual stage airbag, can someone confirm that the adaption can be done and the airbag still works or would it be better to get the correct one?

you need parts like MFSW (dunno if you want the one from 8v or just flat bottom), correct SW control module (I think only one ending with K is right one for 8V SW), airbag if you got 1 stage airbag, look for 1 stage airbag, don't mess with that. cables to run till radio and module for it (i think but not sure). check this thread: http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/8v-steering-wheel-on-8p.227530/

Thank you both, looking again but it's weird as I have a 03 8p and the slipring is 8P0 953 549 G which is kind of high so it should support MFSW as far as VCDS let's me choose.
Will post back as soon as I find out.
