A3 8P help needed - VCDS error codes

Hi guys,

A complete noob here. I own an 8P A3 with BKD engine. First time ran a VCDS log with a friend's help. There are a few codes that came up in the scan. Engine runs fine but a few issues that I have with the car include,
- taking long to warm up/heater not working till the car warm up (possibly related to the Aux heater?),
- alarm going off intermittently while locking the car (unlocking and locking again seems to fix the issue),
- Dash lights auto dimming even when set to the highest setting regardless of the time (same thing happens during the day and night time)

I have searched the forum and ross tech website but still cant make sense of what are the main things I should be looking for. I understand that some codes could be caused by another fault so dont want to go on a spending spree to get something fixed that would have not be necessary at all. Element needs replacing.

Alarm horn faulty, replace.

Heater system needs resetting to prove if motors faulty.

Now you have logged your faults and stored it in a file, (or you should do) use the copy button provided in autoscan function and paste to word or such then , clear all DTC faults and see which ones remain.

Helps with the process of elimination.

Thank you for the help guys. I'll run the scan again in a couple of days.
A strange thing happened yesterday. I was checking the wiring loom for the radio (it has a sony head unit that suddenly stopped working yesterday). I didnt find any obvious issues with the wiring however when i started the car later, i was surprised to see hot air coming out of the vents almost immediately. Car engine was cold still. For the headunit, i checked the fuse at the back of the hu and f19 in the engine bay and both are fine. Is there any other fuse?
