A3 lifeless console and won't start

I have a 2012 plate A3 2.0 tdi which, when I put the keys in the ignition won't activate the dashboard (only the radio and heater controls)
The car cranks over continuously but doesn't start.... it's almost like the immobiliser has jammed on ?

Any pointers ?

Do you mean in the fuse box or under the dash itself ?

My fuse box is under the bonnet and I've checked them all and they're ok

Don't you have one at the end of the dash? Your key can pop of the cover. My 07 does

its not actually under the dashboard, but if you open the drivers door and look at the end of the dash facing you, pop the cover off as said above and get to the fuses there.

Have you got another key you could try possibly ?

You'll definitely have a fuse panel at the right hand side of the dashboard, hidden by your drivers door when closed, the panel pops off
