I bought these as a lockdown restoration/repair project with the idea that I would fit them to my S3 8L but wasn't completely happy with my work and decided to go a different route instead so they need to find a new home.
When I got the lights, the passenger side cluster was missing a fixing post where it had snapped off. I made a replacement post using a length of thread and tapped that into the cluster, secured it with a couple of nuts and bonded it in place.
Also the same light had a chip out of the top corner of the lens. I bought a sample square of brown tinted perspex and fashioned a piece to make good. I managed to make a piece fit but when I bonded it, the colour/shade match is close to the original but there is a slight lip where the added piece doesn't quite sit flush.
The lights do have some light scratches/marks on them (they may buff out but I'm no expert) and the driver's side light has a couple of more prominent marks. I have tried to photo them, but a combination of the lights being reflective coupled with my skill level of camera work, they don't show up that clearly. I have also replaced the indicator and tail light bulbs for new ones.
The lights are 'E' marked and road legal, fitted with standard filament bulbs.
I've taken some photo's of the lights in broad daylight to show each bulb lit...

I test fitted the passenger light in my S3 8L to check that the post lines up to secure it and also to show how the lens repair looks when fitted...

I'm open to offers on these (within reason). They are available to view/collect from the OX3 Oxford area and I'm happy to help fit them to your car if you need help. I'm happy to post but only use Royal Mail and I don't post often so I can only guess it will cost a few quid. I'm also happy to deliver/meet around a 30 minute drive from my house, if that suits better.
Payment preferred by paypal (not as a gift so you are covered) or cash on collection.

Any questions, please pm me.
Cheers,
Tim.
