A3 wing mirror onto a S3.

Will a prefacelift A3 wing mirror fit onto a prefacelift S3?

Will the base and wiring line up etc?

Why? Do you need some prefacelift bases?

Yeah mate, the passenger side one, some how the previous owner managed to break off a piece of the base just next to the wing mirror cover, *******.

Had a look at pre facelift A3 and S3 today at GTI Inters for you Dani, I can confirm they are the same, and it's also been doubly confirmed by the guy who sold me the InPro Chrome mirrors I have on my car also.

I think i have a pre facelift mirrors and bases 0n my 2001 S3 and it doesnt fit very well...
i will ask my brother to take a picture and post it back here (since im working outside the country now and dont have my s3)
