A4 Avant B8 Bluetooth

Hi All,
Could someone tell me where the factory fitted bluetooth module is located please? Mine is a pre facelift that had factory fitted bluetooth fitted. I've looked everywhere I can think of including under both seats.

If it has MMI 2G or any of the normal Chorus/Concert/Symphony headunits then its under the carpet, below the passenger seat in a black box.

I take it I'll need to cut the carpet to get to it?

No need to cut, remove the front seat, or unbolt and tilt back, remove the plastic inner sill trim and you can pull the carpet up.

Why do you need access to it?

I used to have a Concert but upgraded it to a MMI3G+. Most things are working fine but the bluetooth microphone lead needs to be diverted from the old bluetooth to the new head unit. Tried to get a wiring diagram for a 2014 mmi3G+ without success so I had to do it the slow way!
