Hello Everyone,

I have an Audi A4 B6 Cabriolet 2.5 TDI, that has recently undergone a face lift :)

I currently have 18" RS4 replicas fitted that came with the car, and some budget tyres.
The wheels are reasonable quality and in good condition, but I prefer the look of the RS6 5 spoke wheels on the cabriolet.
I find the ride quite harsh having come from an A4 B8 Saloon, and this has made me wonder if reducing the wheel size and buying some good quality tyres will help improve the ride.

Any thoughts and/or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance :)

Check your tyre pressures, otherwise going to 17's will increase road comfort............tyres would be 235/45/17 XL

18's should be 235/40/18 XL

Im on 20'' RS6' 235/30/20 as advised by Mike above.

I find the ride quality to be no different when on good roads and horrible when on bad roads! Its just the way it is. Ive got decent £90 tyres per corner.

I'd definitely invest in the best possible tyres for your budget but at the same time not compromising on this.

Just from experience, I would go far as saying running 19'' wheels with 235/35 set up with premium tyres would be fine.

Looking forward to seeing a bit more of the conversion :friendly wink:

Hope all is well!
