New on the forum, not sure if this is the right place but heres my problem.
A4 B7 2005 1.8TQ
Im having a boost leak? sound whenever im going over 2500rpm ish, where the turbo starts boosting. The sound is not from the turbo spooling up, it sounds more like a fan going on 20000rpm and this problem only occures when driving, not while idle.
I have preassure tested the intercooler tubes from the air intake and to the turbo with no leaks. I have not leak tested the vacuum lines because i dont know where to start. This turbo was new 3000km ago, and i had the same sound on my old turbo. The car boosts up a bit and then the sound occures and i cant get any more boost. The car has a BSR 200 ish hp chip. And the car is behaving like there is 0.1bar preassure. When the sound occures the boost is leaking out somewhere and prevents me to get the 0.9bar boost that it should be. Any suggestions what i should check first and where to start? The exhaust is not leaking. I have tried to bypass the N249 Valve also but no differense.. N75 is also new. I want my 200+ hp back
