After driving round town on a hot day I pulled over and with the engine still running and no fan running I see these figures on vcds
Coolant temp 78 degrees
Coolant temperature at radiator outlet 64 degrees
Eng coolant temp 78 degrees
Eng coolant radiator outlet 78 degrees.
I'm wondering is this normal to see these figures while the dash very rarely gets above 85 degrees and that takes usually ten + miles to get to that temperature. Notice my aux heater was buzzing away the whole time so I'm wondering is this also the cause of my electric drain issue, the aux heater constantly running
Just wondering has anyone else had this happen or is this normal for such a swing in temperature readings?
