A4 B8 2008 LED Number Plate bulbs

I've seen various units on ebay for around £25+.
eg:
2 x WHITE LED LICENSE NUMBER PLATE LIGHT LAMP - AUDI A4 (8K2,B8) Saloon [07-09] | eBay

Just wondered which ones you guys have and if they are error free?
Hate my yellow-ish halogens

Well I ended up buying the whole light unit from here:
2 x WHITE LED LICENSE NUMBER PLATE LIGHT LAMP - AUDI A4 (8K2,B8) Saloon [07-09] | eBay

They came with big resistors that I can't seem to fix to anything, they just fall in and rattle around the boot (behind the lining).
After removing the lining and finally getting them out I have just fitted the units without the resistors.
They're working with no errors, but do you think an error might come up eventually on a 2008 model?

Excellent, with my 58 reg A3 they did throw up errors.
I wonder if 2008 was the change over year for Canbus/LED Errors.
