A4 B8 Wheel Fitting Question

Hi all

I looked for a specific wheels calc thraed but could,nt find it & i didnt just want to stick it in the A4 section in case someone with knowledge missed it.
I dont want to bother N8 as i know he is busy working.

Mrs B,s A4 B8 avant has 8 x 18 5 spoke S line alloys which i think are et 29 & 245/40/18 tyres

I have seen some 9 x 19 et 33 wheels that i like & even tho i have looked on "will they fit" etc wanted to know if anyone has a definitive answer & it they have done it.


I want to fit 255/35/19 tyres cos i dont want Ben Her scraping the wheels

The ET on the B8 A4 alloys is 47 on those alloys. I believe it's 28 or 29 on the A5 version which looks the same.
put the offset and wheel width figures into a calculator

And you get 1mm more clearance on the inner side and the outer rim moves out 27mm.
That is I think possibly too much poke.
